IAIN LEARY, the owner of Cut For You has worked in the ground maintenance industry since 1999.

Originally working at Carden Park where he learnt his trade from raking a bunker to cutting large areas of grass with heavy machinery. He also took his NVQ Level two for sports turf management and PA1 and PA6 spraying licence which enables him to spray chemicals.

In his four years being at Carden Park he was involved in major competitions such as the Ryder cup and Bensons and Hedges Master at the Belfry, and also the European Seniors Tour (2) and PQ1 European Tour Qualifier (4) on the Nicklaus and Cheshire Course.

In 2003 he moved to Sandiway Golf Club to gain more experience learning more about machinery and the mechanical side of turfing and maintenance. He also gained a Level 3 in Greenkeeping Management and Health and Safety, First Aid certificates.
